Debbie enjoys creating her sculptural art from unusual and recycled materials such as strips of hand-dyed fabrics, novelty fabrics, recycled food bags, garbage bags, caution tape, foil balloons, nylon rope and other oddities, Debra carefully wraps the rope core with her chosen materials, then stitches the coils into organic shapes. She enjoys adding surprising appendages like pendulums attached by curly telephone cords.
